Wireless Glossary

We are still on the land of hightech so today's link was about wireless dictionary. It is an article about Infrared Data Association (IrDA). Here text of this article: "This association defined a suite of protocols for infrared (IR) exchange of data between two devices, up to 1 or 2 meters apart (20 to 30 cm for low-power devices). IrDA devices typically have throughput of up to 115.2Kbps or 4Mbps. Symbian OS phones, many PDAs, printers and laptop computers use IrDA protocols."

Google vs Microsoft competition

Now we've traveled to blog site with post about Google and Nokia.
"Nokia have teamed up with Google to produce an updated version of the 770 internet tablet. Using the Google Talk VoIP system, the device won’t have traditional mobile phone capabilities but be a PDA or handheld computer with Wi-Fi for fast internet access and voice data transfer. Not only will it have these pretty new functions, but the Nokia 770 will also feature a high spec video and music player making it a good multimedia choice."
Here more text about competition with Microsoft:
"Whether the Nokia 770 takes off or not is sort of incidental to this news, because what this announcement means is that Google and Microsoft have found yet another battle ground for market share. With Microsoft’s UMPCs (Ultra Mobile PCs) on the horizon, and Nokia marketing their Tablets as cheaper alternatives, Google have chosen their side in the war, and once again it’s against Mr. Gates and co."

Radio UserLand

The fist one link was to the Radio UserLand site. It's surely related to general blog content in the first post in my blog because this toll provides "a unique and powerful web publishing". Radio UserLand is weblog tool with advanced features such as an integrated news aggregator. A little cite from tool's site:
"Anyone wishing to blog about more than one area of interest will appreciate Radio's Category Feature. Every copy of Radio will support an unlimited number of categories and each category is, in essence, a separate weblog with its own URL address and its own independent RSS feed. Radio also permits multiple authors to contribute to a community weblog via the Multi-Author Weblog Tool."

The start of the chase

This blog will be about how far you can get with Google. How this will work. For each new post in this blog I will follow one of the google context links on the page of the post. The next post will be about things that I'd found in the place where Google get me. It's very interesting how far I would get :) And what I will learn. And what kind of things Google can connect?

    Let's start to chase!
